Foreword
If you're into home network attached storage NAS devices, managing your media collection is a rite of passage. As the core of personal cloud storage, NAS offers much more than just data backup - it's the key to creating your own digital entertainment hub.
PocketCloud is no exception: beyond serving as a reliable guardian for your files, its built-in "Cinema" feature is a standout tool that shouldn't be overlooked. It helps you effortlessly organize your media library and set up a private streaming server, freeing you from relying on third-party platforms for movies and shows.

Now, let's dive into the world of PocketCloud network NAS drives' cinema and explore how you can efficiently manage your media collection to build a tailored audiovisual system.
PocketCloud's cinema feature supports offline downloads, allowing you to save your favorite movies and shows directly to your device without worrying about limited storage. During travel on high-speed trains or flights where the internet is unavailable, you can still enjoy smooth playback via direct connection mode - your private cinema, always within reach.
User Guide Steps for PocketCloud Storage NAS
Step 1: Create Your Media Library
Enter the Cinema interface and click [Go to Add Media Library] to access the settings. Select [Media Library Setup], then tap the [Add Media Library] button in the top-right corner. Name your media library and add folders containing your media files—these can be located on your PocketCloud main unit, expansion dock, or external storage devices.

Set your preferred metadata language (Chinese or English) and choose your media information source. While the built-in intelligent recognition is an option, using The Movie Database (TMDB) requires an API Key. If you opt for TMDB-based scraping, follow the steps below.

Step 2: Configure TMDB for Automatic Scraping
To fetch accurate movie details and high-quality posters automatically, you can enable TMDB-based scraping. First, you'll need to obtain an API key:
- Visit the TMDB website and register or log in to your account.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and go to [Settings], then select [API] from the left menu.
- Click [Create] or [Request an API Key], choose "Developer" as the application type, briefly describe your project (e.g., “personal media library management”), and submit.
- Once approved (usually within minutes), you’ll find your API Key on the API page (format similar to abcdef1234567890).

Enter this key into the TMDB API Key field in PocketCloud cinema settings. Leave Host Configuration Blank, then click [Confirm]. The system will now automatically identify your media and pull details, such as posters, synopses, and ratings - transforming your library into a visually rich "poster wall."

Step 3: Tune and Share Your Media Library
If certain titles aren't recognized correctly, you can manually edit their information or rematch them via the movie details page.
Once your media library is set up, you can also share it with family or friends: go to [User] in the cinema settings, select the sub-account you wish to share with, and check the media libraries to grant access. They'll then be able to stream your authorized content on their own devices.

For movie enthusiasts who demand high-definition quality and streamlined management, a reliable storage and organization solution is essential. PocketCloud's cinema feature not only addresses the challenges of storing and playing media across devices but also integrates scattered files into a unified, visually appealing, and user-friendly private streaming platform through intelligent scraping and sharing tools.
Now, whether on your phone, tablet, or computer, your personal cinema is just a tap away - offering true freedom and a premium viewing experience anytime, anywhere.
