Last updated: August 13, 2026
StationPC operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Store Services"). StationPC also provides software applications and device-based services, including StationOS Pro and its integrations with third-party cloud storage services (the "App Services"). The Store Services and App Services are collectively referred to as the "Services" in this Privacy Policy, except where otherwise specified.
The Store Services are powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Store Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, store, and disclose your personal information when you visit, access, or use the Services, make a purchase or other transaction using the Store Services, connect StationOS Pro to third-party services such as Google Drive, or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, storage, and disclosure of your personal information.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Personal Information We Collect or Process
When we use the term "personal information," we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information that is collected anonymously or that has been de-identified so that it cannot identify or be reasonably linked to you.
We may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from this personal information, depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and as permitted or required by applicable law:
- Contact details, including your name, address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
- Financial information, including credit card, debit card, and financial account numbers, payment card information, financial account information, transaction details, form of payment, payment confirmation, and other payment details.
- Account information, including your username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
- Transaction information, including the items you view, put in your cart, add to your wishlist, or purchase, return, exchange, or cancel and your past transactions.
- Communications with us, including the information you include in communications with us, for example, when sending a customer support inquiry.
- Device information, including information about your device, browser, or network connection, your IP address, and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information, including information regarding your interaction with the Services, including how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.
- Google user data. If you choose to connect StationOS Pro to Google Drive, StationOS Pro may process Google Drive files, file and folder metadata, and OAuth authorization credentials as necessary to provide the Google Drive integration. Google user data is handled as specifically described in the "Google API Services User Data" section of this Privacy Policy.
Personal Information Sources
We may collect personal information from the following sources:
- Directly from you, including when you create an account, visit or use the Services, communicate with us, or otherwise provide us with your personal information.
- Automatically through the Services, including from your device when you use our products or services or visit our websites, and through the use of cookies and similar technologies.
- From our service providers, including when we engage them to enable certain technology and when they collect or process your personal information on our behalf.
- From our partners or other third parties.
- From Google at your direction, when you authorize StationOS Pro to access Google Drive through Google APIs. StationOS Pro accesses Google user data only within the permissions you grant.
How We Use Your Personal Information
Depending on how you interact with us or which of the Services you use, we may use personal information for the following purposes:
- Provide, Tailor, and Improve the Services. We use your personal information to provide you with the Services, including to perform our contract with you, process your payments, fulfill your orders, remember your preferences and items you are interested in, send notifications related to your account, process purchases, returns, exchanges or other transactions, create and maintain your account, arrange for shipping, facilitate returns and exchanges, enable reviews, and improve our Services.
- Marketing and Advertising. We use certain personal information collected through the Store Services for marketing and promotional purposes, such as sending marketing communications and showing advertisements for products or services. Google user data obtained through Google APIs is excluded from these marketing and advertising activities and is used only as described in the "Google API Services User Data" section below.
- Security and Fraud Prevention. We use personal information to authenticate accounts, provide secure experiences, detect or investigate fraudulent, illegal, unsafe, or malicious activity, protect public safety, and secure our Services.
- Communicating with You. We use personal information to provide customer support, respond to you, provide effective services, and maintain our business relationship with you.
- Legal Reasons. We use personal information to comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, investigate or participate in litigation or other legal proceedings, and enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.
Google API Services User Data
This section applies specifically when you choose to connect a Google Drive account to StationOS Pro.
It describes how StationOS Pro accesses, uses, processes, stores, protects, retains, and deletes information obtained through Google APIs ("Google user data").
If there is any conflict between this section and another provision of this Privacy Policy concerning Google user data, this section controls with respect to Google user data.
Google Drive Permissions and Data Access
StationOS Pro accesses Google user data only after you explicitly authorize the connection to Google Drive.
Depending on the features you use, StationOS Pro requests Google Drive permissions that allow it to perform the following operations:
View and Download Google Drive Files
StationOS Pro may view and download files stored in your Google Drive.
This access is used to allow you to browse, select, transfer, synchronize, and restore Google Drive files to your StationOS Pro NAS device.
Manage Specific Google Drive Files Used with StationOS Pro
StationOS Pro may view, edit, create, or delete specific Google Drive files that you choose to use with StationOS Pro or that are created by StationOS Pro at your direction.
This access is used only when necessary to perform file transfer, synchronization, restore, modification, or deletion operations requested or configured by you through StationOS Pro.
StationOS Pro does not use this permission to arbitrarily modify or delete unrelated files in your Google Drive.
Locally Processed Google Drive Metadata
To provide the Google Drive integration, StationOS Pro may locally process information associated with Google Drive files and folders, including:
- file and folder names;
- file and folder identifiers;
- directory structure;
- file sizes;
- modification information;
- file transfer and synchronization state; and
- backup or restore status.
StationOS Pro also processes OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to maintain the Google Drive connection that you authorize.
How StationOS Pro Uses Google User Data
Google user data is used solely to provide and maintain the Google Drive functionality requested or configured by you through StationOS Pro.
This may include:
- browsing and selecting files and folders stored in Google Drive;
- transferring selected or configured files from Google Drive to your StationOS Pro NAS device;
- transferring files selected or configured by you from your StationOS Pro NAS device to Google Drive;
- synchronizing selected or configured files between your StationOS Pro NAS device and Google Drive;
- restoring files requested by you;
- creating, modifying, or deleting files when you request or configure an operation that requires such action; and
- maintaining file transfer and synchronization status.
StationOS Pro does not use Google user data for:
- advertising or targeted advertising;
- personalized or interest-based advertising;
- retargeting;
- marketing profiling;
- sale to third parties;
- sale or transfer to data brokers or information resellers;
- determining creditworthiness or lending eligibility; or
- training or improving generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Google user data is not combined with information collected through the Store Services for advertising or marketing purposes.
Local Processing and Storage
The StationOS Pro Google Drive integration is designed so that Google user data required to perform Google Drive operations is processed on the user's own StationOS Pro NAS device.
File Contents
Files transferred between Google Drive and StationOS Pro are transferred directly between Google services and the user's StationOS Pro NAS device.
Google Drive file contents do not pass through StationPC-operated cloud servers and are not centrally stored by StationPC.
Files transferred from Google Drive to the user's NAS are stored on storage controlled by the user.
Files transferred from the user's NAS to Google Drive are stored in the user's own Google Drive account in accordance with the user's instructions and Google's applicable terms.
OAuth Credentials
OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required for the Google Drive connection are stored locally on the user's StationOS Pro NAS device.
These OAuth credentials are stored in encrypted form.
StationPC does not centrally store these OAuth credentials on StationPC-operated cloud servers.
Google Drive Metadata
Google Drive file and folder metadata required for browsing, file transfer, synchronization, backup, or restore operations is stored locally on the user's StationOS Pro NAS device.
StationPC does not centrally store this Google Drive metadata on StationPC-operated cloud servers.
Temporary and Cached Data
Temporary files, temporary metadata, and cache data created while performing Google Drive operations are stored locally on the user's StationOS Pro NAS device only as necessary to perform those operations.
Such temporary Google Drive data is not sent to third-party analytics, advertising, logging, or other third-party services.
Security of Google User Data
StationPC uses technical safeguards designed to protect Google user data handled by StationOS Pro against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
In particular:
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens stored on the StationOS Pro NAS device are encrypted;
- communications between StationOS Pro and Google services use encrypted network connections such as HTTPS/TLS;
- Google Drive file contents are transferred directly between the user's NAS device and Google services and do not pass through StationPC-operated cloud servers; and
- Google Drive metadata and temporary cache data are processed and stored locally on the user's NAS device.
Because Google user data is stored on the user's own NAS device, users should also maintain appropriate device security, access controls, passwords, physical security, and software updates for their StationOS Pro NAS device.
Sharing and Disclosure of Google User Data
StationPC does not sell Google user data.
StationPC does not provide Google user data processed through the StationOS Pro Google Drive integration to:
- Shopify;
- advertising networks;
- marketing partners;
- data brokers;
- information resellers;
- third-party analytics services;
- third-party logging services; or
- other third parties for unrelated commercial purposes.
Google Drive file contents, OAuth credentials, Google Drive metadata, and temporary cache data remain on the user's StationOS Pro NAS device except when information is transferred directly between that NAS device and Google services as requested or configured by the user.
Google user data may be disclosed or transferred only:
- when the user expressly requests, configures, or authorizes an operation that requires the transfer;
- as necessary to provide the user-facing Google Drive functionality requested by the user; or
- where required by applicable law or valid legal process.
For clarity, provisions elsewhere in this Privacy Policy concerning Shopify, marketing partners, personalized advertising, analytics, advertising services, or other service providers do not authorize those parties to receive Google user data obtained through Google APIs.
Retention and Deletion of Google User Data
StationOS Pro retains Google user data locally only for as long as necessary to provide the Google Drive features requested or configured by the user.
OAuth Credentials
OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are retained locally only while the applicable Google Drive account remains connected to StationOS Pro and those credentials are necessary to provide the authorized functionality.
When the user disconnects the Google Drive account through StationOS Pro, the locally stored OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens associated with that connection are deleted immediately.
Google Drive Metadata
Locally stored Google Drive metadata associated with a Google Drive connection is retained only while needed to provide the Google Drive integration.
When the user disconnects that Google Drive account through StationOS Pro, the corresponding locally stored metadata is deleted immediately.
Temporary and Cached Data
Temporary files and cache data associated with a Google Drive connection are retained only as necessary to perform the requested operations.
When the Google Drive account is disconnected through StationOS Pro, temporary and cached Google Drive data associated with that connection is deleted immediately.
Files Stored on the User's NAS
Files that have already been downloaded, synchronized, or otherwise transferred from Google Drive to the user's StationOS Pro NAS device are not automatically deleted when the Google Drive account is disconnected or authorization is revoked.
These files are copies stored on storage controlled by the user. The user may retain, manage, move, or delete these files using the file management functions available on the StationOS Pro NAS device.
Files Stored in Google Drive
Files that have already been created, uploaded, synchronized, or otherwise transferred to Google Drive through StationOS Pro remain in the user's Google Drive account after the Google Drive account is disconnected from StationOS Pro or StationOS Pro's authorization is revoked.
Disconnecting the Google Drive account from StationOS Pro or revoking StationOS Pro's authorization does not automatically delete files that have already been stored in the user's Google Drive account.
These files remain under the user's control and may be retained, managed, moved, or deleted by the user through Google Drive.
Disconnecting or Revoking Google Access
Users may disconnect their Google Drive account using the account or cloud storage management functions provided in StationOS Pro.
Users may also revoke StationOS Pro's authorization through the third-party access or authorization management settings provided by their Google Account.
When a user disconnects the account through StationOS Pro, the associated locally stored OAuth credentials, Google Drive metadata, and temporary cache data are deleted immediately.
When authorization is revoked through Google Account settings, Google's authorization for StationOS Pro is revoked and StationOS Pro can no longer use that authorization to obtain Google user data. Once StationOS Pro detects that the authorization has been revoked, the corresponding locally stored OAuth authorization data, Google Drive metadata, and temporary cache data are deleted.
Limited Use of Google User Data
StationPC's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How We Disclose Personal Information
In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes subject to this Privacy Policy.
